Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival

Today you will arrive at the airport of Cancun and will go by private transport to your hotel. You will have time to discover all the things the hotel has to offer to your family. You will be staying during this trip at Playa del Carmen, and you will be having day trips to explore La Riviera Maya. 

Day 2. Theme Park

You will receive a warm welcome by visiting the park of Xcaret and get a magical experience. At night there is a show with over 300 actors, giving you a colorful musical journey through the history of Mexico with a lot of folklore and dancing from Mexico. The park also has a coral reef aquarium, a butterfly pavilion, underground rivers, beaches, natural pools and even a place where you can swim with dolphins.

Day 3. Boat rides

Today you have time to relax after a day full of fun experiences. Relax at one of the pools while the children enjoy the waterslide. There is even the possibility to enjoy one of the boat rides the hotel has to offer and see nature. For lunch you can go to the restaurant in front of the beach, while at night you can have dinner in one of the specialty restaurants.

Day 4. Mayan Ruins and Valladolid

A must see is Chichen Itza, one of the seven new world wonders and declared World Heritage for Humanity. Chichen Itza used to be one of the most important Mayan cities. It is known for the Pyramid  of The Castle, because of the perfect construction. Today you will enjoy a guided tour in this beautiful site with 1500 years of history. After visiting the Mayan ruins you will go to Valladolid, a colonial city, where the family can enjoy an all inclusive meal.

Day 5. Free time

On the fifth day you can enjoy all the nice facilities which the hotel has to offer such as one of the best spas or snorkeling. The kids can in the meantime go to the exciting Discovery Club and Adventure Camp.

Day 6. Aquarium

If you love water activities, this is the place to be. β€˜Xel-Haβ€˜ is considered as the largest aquarium in the world and all natural. You can do all kinds of water activities here such as swimming with dolphins, snorkeling and even Snuba and Sea Trek. Snubbing is a combination of snorkeling and diving, and Sea Trek means you can walk under water. Fun and safety guaranteed.

Day 7. Sea Kayaking

Another day at the hotel to relax. Enjoy the facilities the hotel has to offer. You can go Sea Kayaking without any extra charge and for the golf lovers there is one of the best courses at the resort.

Day 8. Canopy and snorkeling

After a day of relaxing, a day full of new experiences is waiting for the family! You will go to the middle of the jungle to experience the adrenaline rush of flying 20m. (66 ft.) over the jungle. This canopy circuit is the fastest one in the entire region. In the jungle you can also swim in the crystal clear underground river.

Afterwards you will enjoy a delicious Mexican lunch in the middle of the jungle. After lunch you will go on a journey to the beach club in Turtle Bay and go snorkeling while watching Marine Turtles and later on you can relax in one of the sandy beaches.

Day 9. Playa del Carmen

Today is the perfect day to get to know the small Caribbean style. You have the possibility to go shopping and discover this lovely metropolitan city which is now one of the fastest growing ones in Mexico.

Day 10. Mayan Ruins and Cenote

Coba is a beautiful archaeological site with the highest pyramid in the Yucatan Peninsula which today you will climb. Together with a professional guide you will explore Coba. Then you can have a delicious meal in the restaurant in the middle of the jungle and go visit a family in the Mayan Community to discover how the families now live.

For more interaction they will explain more about their traditions, customs and they will even teach you how to make handmade tortillas. Another highlight today is the representation of a local guide who will take you on a hike through the jungle and demonstrate the gum process.

Afterwards you can enjoy the natural wonder of a Cenote. A Cenote is an amazing Deep Natural Sinkhole. The Mayans believed that these natural sinkholes were the entrances to the underworld. Finish your day by taking a refreshing swim in the Cenote.

Day 11. Free time

Time to relax at the hotel or enjoy the lovely beaches and take a dip in the Caribbean Sea.

Day 12. Ruins of Ek-Balam

The river of the Lizards is known for the most spectacular Flamenco Colony. It is located at a lagoon and the perfect spot for birdwatching in Yucatan. Explore the varied fauna and the archaeological site of Ek-Balam with its many monumental buildings and Mayan Art. At the end of the day, enjoy a delicious meal in the colonial city of Valladolid.

Day 13. Port Adventures

Today is the last day in this paradise. You have the option to go swimming with dolphins in β€˜Port Adventures’. Here you will not only be swimming with dolphins but the people in the port will also show you how to protect them. The place where you can swim with dolphins is on a topical green island with a lagoon. Afterwards you can enjoy the complimentary facilities the port has to offer.

Day 14. Return Home

Unfortunately today your journey ends, we will take you to the airport.

Subterranean water afterworld in the Riviera Maya, this expedition will definitely be a particular experience like no other, enchanted and intrepid, you will be able to snorkel or dive in the caves packed of formations.

We are very confident it is one of the best Cenotes in Mexico! While it is fully subterranean, the access is open and gives a small area where you are able to float in delicate turquoise water.
