No vacation is complete without a tour of ‘Suchitoto’, a quaint village with colonial architecture, and a morning surf on the biggest waves of ‘El Tunco’, the perfect beach to vacation. Not to mention, they are famous for delicious foods like ‘pupusas’ and ‘quesadillas’. In Addition to the Archeological Site ‘Joya de Ceren”, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. El Salvador Tours FAQ’s

In El Salvador, we have a collection of charming accommodations such as small colonial hotels, dazzling beach front hotels, family apartments, bed and breakfasts, and boutique hotels.

Due to the Ruta de Las Flores, we work with an array of small hotels in El Salvador. The Ruta de las Flores is actually a part of the country connected by one very panoramic road centered around Juayua. The road goes by five small towns. The road between the towns is covered with colorful flowers commonly from November to February. Apart from the flowers, these charming towns offer a few other things to do.

Breakfasts are included in most of our trips. The prices include lunches on our excursions when you are traveling off the beaten path where there are not many restaurants.

In bigger towns, where there are plenty of restaurants, we often do not include meals, to give our travelers the chance to choose their own food desires and taste local dishes. Our local guides can recommend some excellent local and international restaurants. It is worth mentioning the weekly weekend food festival in La Ruta de Las Flores.

All of our tour guides are excellent. They have the knowledge of a local. They have solid communication skills, great humor, and enthusiasm for their job. They treat our travelers as friends, and focus on offering travelers an unforgettable experience.

We arrange private transportation door-to-door service during our trips including vans, cars, ferries, amongst others. All the vehicles are in great condition and comfortable.

Yes and no, El Salvador is a country imposing volcanoes, rainforest, breathtaking lakes, colonial towns, and great beaches in the Pacific Ocean. Our tours vary from adventurous volcano hikes to local culture and relaxing on the coast, and can be customized to suit your family.

El Salvador is a small country, in general we don’t spend a lot of time on the road, however some of our activities may work better for older kids. Please, feel free to contact us as to what type of excursions would work best for you and your family.

Our prices generally do not include international flights. We think that it is often better cost-wise for travelers to purchase these directly and this also gives them the chance to choose the routes and times that work best for them. If you wish, we can always arrange your flights with an airline company that works with El Salvador flights.

A representative will be waiting for you outside of arrivals in the international airport of El Salvador. You will find him or her standing directly outside of the customs check after the baggage claim and holding a sign with your name on it.

You may reserve your tour to El Salvador at any moment. For most of our excursions, two or three months in advance works excellent, though Holy Week, the Holiday Season, may fill up five – six months earlier. We usually recommend that you wait to buy your international flights until after your itinerary with us is finished and confirmed.

The sooner that we organize your trip, the sooner that you are able to take advantage of flight deals as they come available with the airlines. Most of the time, we can accommodate last minute travelers. Contact us and we will do our best to find a journey that works best for your dates and interests.

Definitely. We can give you ideas and tips for additional excursions. We can add extra days in most of our journeys. Let us know how you would like to change your itinerary and we will be happy to arrange your itinerary.
