Itinerary

Upon arrival, a representative will be at the airport of Cancun to guide you to your hotel in Tulum.

Experience the perfect blend of adventure and Mayan culture by visiting Tulum, a breathtaking Mayan metropolis on a hill with a picturesque view of the Caribbean Sea during sunrise. Tulum still embodies the natural beauty, historical significance, and cultural roots of its original inhabitants who settled here centuries ago.

Immerse yourself in thrilling activities amidst the jungle to satisfy your sense of adventure. Take your pick from cliff jumping, zip lining, snorkeling, canoeing, or simply unwinding with a refreshing dip in a Cenote’s serene and crystal-clear waters. To conclude this one-of-a-kind experience, take a moment to admire a quaint Mayan village that appears to have stood still in time. Relish a tasty and authentic lunch while observing how these communities showcase how little is required to attain happiness.

The tranquil lagoon beside the enchanting Bacalar town is a must-see for travelers. Its vast pool of clear water displays a range of captivating hues, from deep blue to natural turquoise, earning it the nickname ‘Lake of Seven Colors.’ Visitors flock to the lagoon to admire its crystal-clear blue waters and relax in hammocks hanging from palapas above the water.

Join us for an exhilarating adventure. We will cruise through the Pirates Channel, go for a swim and some snorkeling in the stunning Black Cenote and Esmerelda, and witness fantastic migratory birds on the Island of Birds. This expedition will be an unforgettable experience.

You can take a leisurely walk along the Pirates Channel waterside and explore the area on foot. The ground may turn into a sandbar in some areas, and the water may only cover your feet. It’s safe to walk far out from the shoreline without getting too wet. The high mineral content in the water makes it an ideal spot for swimming and getting natural skin exfoliation.

Our next stop will be at Bacalar’s beautiful natural wonder, the Black Cenote, also known as Cenote de La Bruja. It gets its name from its dark appearance, which results from the abundant biodiversity and diverse species of plants and flowers that make this Cenote genuinely captivating.

There are two amazing Cenotes near the Bacalar Lagoon that you should check out. The first one is called Cenote Esmeralda, and it offers a breathtaking view of the natural surroundings. Its most impressive feature is the magnificent water hole that catches everyone’s attention. The second one is Cenote Cocalitos, which is a peaceful swimming spot that also has a restaurant. This Cenote is home to stromatolites, which are circular stone formations that filter the water, making it look crystal clear and blue. These formations may seem like ordinary rocks from afar. Still, they reveal their intricate and delicate components when examined up close.

Bird Island is a small sanctuary located at the heart of Bacalar Lagoon. Various bird species inhabit it, and it has crystal-clear waters, making it a perfect spot for eco-tourism, bird-watching, and swimming enthusiasts.

When you visit Coba, you can explore its ancient ruins on a bike tour. This site was once an important Maya city and was crucial to their road system. As you wander through Coba, you’ll see the impressive network of roads and the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan Peninsula. Check out Estela number one, which features inscriptions that mention the date 12/12/12. You’ll also gain valuable knowledge about the fascinating history of the Mayan civilization.

Akumal is a breathtaking destination that boasts the world’s best-preserved ecosystem with abundant, diverse marine life in its stunning bay. It’s a perfect spot to experience the warmth of the Caribbean Sea and snorkel alongside colorful fish, barracudas, spotted eagle rays, and peaceful turtles. A visit to Akumal guarantees an unforgettable paradise for all.

We’ll transport you to your hotel in Playa del Carmen, a city with various restaurants serving local and international cuisine to satisfy every taste. Enjoy many bars, clubs, and shopping centers, or relax in Mexico’s beautiful barrier reef. Playa del Carmen’s beaches are renowned for their soft, warm, white sands and pristine turquoise waters. Additionally, the hospitable nature of Mexican culture is well-known.

Today, you are in for a one-of-a-kind adventure with the Rio Secreto (Secret River) caving excursion. You will journey into an underground world that has remained untouched for years. This breathtaking natural wonder boasts a stunning nature reserve with crystal-clear waters that have existed for millennia. As you embark on this tour, you’ll witness the gradual unveiling of this sublime site before your very eyes.

During your visit to the Secret River Natural Reserve, your guide will provide you with all the necessary expedition equipment. From there, you will embark on a short bike ride through a jungle path that boasts exciting wildlife, leading you to the entrance of the Mayan underworld. You’ll be able to explore and swim in a semi-flooded cave while observing incredible formations, walking between light and darkness in this natural wonder. Once done, you’ll head back to the jungle camp, change, and prepare yourself to enjoy a delicious regional lunch.

Explore the beauty of Contoy Island and Mujeres Island. Contoy Island is a rare gem that remains untouched and uninhabited, with only biologists permitted to stay to care for its wildlife. It is at the start of the Great Mexican Reef, the second-largest coral reef chain in the world.

The island boasts seven lagoons, bustling wildlife, and lush flora. It is a paradise for snorkelers with its shallow, clear, and calm beaches teeming with aquatic life. You can observe exotic birds and animals, such as iguanas and hermit crabs, during your visit. Afterward, you can head to Mujeres Island’s picturesque coast to bathe on the beautiful beaches or stroll through the charming fishing village’s colorful streets before retiring to your Cancun hotel.

A chauffeur will collect you from your Playa del Carmen lodging and transport you to the breathtaking Contoy island in Cancun by speedboat. You can snorkel along one of the world’s most extensive coral reefs and witness diverse tropical fish. Once on the island, you will have leisure time appreciating the various bird and animal species or relaxing on the beach.

Once you have enjoyed the delicious local cuisine, we will head to Mujeres Island. Here, you can bask in the sun, watch pelicans, explore the vibrant village, or even go snorkeling at the stunning beaches. Many shops are near the dock, where you can rent scooters or golf carts to explore the island.

Your driver will take you to the Cancun International Airport today for your flight home. If you wish to extend or personalize your Mexico tour package, please don’t hesitate to contact us for further details.
